Purpose
Enabling breeders to purchase goats/sheep of genetically improved breeds.
Grant Amount
50% grant up to MUR 22,500 per head for a maximum of MUR 225,000 for imported goat or sheep for breeding
Eligibility Criteria
- Operating in the agro-industrial sector for at least one year
- Holder of title deed or registered lease agreement for a minimum of 3 years post application
- Import permit from DVS
