Purpose

Enabling breeders to purchase goats/sheep of genetically improved breeds.

Grant Amount

50% grant up to Rs 22,500 per head for a maximum of Rs 225,000 for imported goat or sheep for breeding

Eligibility Criteria

• Operating in the agro-industrial sector for at least one year
• Holder of title deed or registered lease agreement for a minimum of 5 years post application
• Import permit from DVS
