Purpose

Enabling breeders to purchase heifers/pregnant heifers/cows of genetically improved breeds.

Grant Amount

50% grant up to Rs 75,000 per head for a maximum of Rs 225,000 for imported cattle for breeding

Eligibility Criteria

1. Operating in the agro-industrial sector for at least one year
2. Holder of title deed or registered lease agreement for a minimum of 3 years post application
3. Import permit from DVS
