Russet – A Short Day Hybrid Onion Variety
Russet is a dark red onion variety with very high yield potential and suitable for fresh market. The plants have a uniform fall over of leaves at maturity. The bulbs are globular, uniform, and firm. The yield is comparable to the currently recommended hybrid varieties that are cultivated locally.
