COMMUNIQUE
Registration of Suppliers/Contractors on the Government e-Procurement System(e-PS)
The Food and Agricultural Research and Extension Institute hereby informs its registered and also potential suppliers/contractors/service providers that the e-Procurement System has become mandatory for public sector bodies as announced in the Budget Speech 2020/2021 of the Government of Mauritius.
In order to improve the efficiency of bidding processes for the procurement of Goods, Works, Consultancy and other services at the FAREI, we kindly request our registered suppliers/ potential suppliers to register their company on the e-Procurement System, since registration is mandatory for a supplier to submit a bid online.
The e-Procurement System (e-PS) hosted at the following web address https://eproc.publicprocurement.govmu.org is an application which allows Public Bodies to issue Invitation for Bids (IFB) and for suppliers to submit bids online.
You are kindly requested to refer to the ‘How to?’ menu of the e-PS website for information about registration and Digital Signature Certificates.
The Procurement Policy Office also provides support to the users of e-PS through its dedicated Help Desk operating during business hours. You may wish to contact them for assistance or for request for training on telephone number (+230)201-1530 or email eprocdesk@govmu.org.
