The Ministry invites Expressions of Interest from growers registered with the Small Farmers Welfare Fund, for the production of Calabash, Squash and Cucumber seeds under the Quality Declared Seed (QDS) Programme.

Applicants should:

• Have experience in the production of seeds they intend to produce under the programme.
• Sign a Contract Agreement with the Agricultural Services of the Ministry upon selection and to comply with formalities and production protocols established by the Ministry.
• Adhere to quality control measures prescribed by the Ministry to ensure compliance with the minimum standards set under QDS.
• Supply fruits produced under the Programme exclusively to the Ministry for processing and seed sales.

Expressions of Interest should be submitted in sealed envelopes clearly marked “Seed Production Under the QDS Programme”, to the Senior Chief Executive, Ministry of Agro-Industry, Food Security, Blue Economy and Fisheries at the address below at latest by Friday 24 July 2026.

The Ministry reserves the right to annul the above exercise without causing prejudice to any applicant.
