The Ministry of Agro-Industry and Food Security invites applications from planters and nurseries interested to embark on the production of layers of Litchi, namely Tai So and Yook Ho Pow varieties, under the ‘Programme for the Production of Quality Litchi Layers’.

Interested planters and nurseries should be registered with the Corporate and Business Registration Department (CBRD) and should have experience in the production of litchi layers.

Upon selection, they will be required to sign a Contract Agreement with the Agricultural Services of the Ministry of Agro-Industry and Food Security, and will have to comply with the guidelines for litchi layer production established under the Programme. The litchi layers produced under the Programme will be subject to quality control measures to ensure conformity with the minimum standards set for litchi layer production and would be purchased by the Ministry.

Expressions of Interest should be submitted in sealed envelopes clearly marked ‘Programme for the Production of Quality Litchi Layers’ to the Senior Chief Executive of the Ministry of Agro-Industry and Food Security at the address given below at latest by Wednesday 31 January 2024.

The Ministry reserves the right to annul this exercise.
