Purpose

To encourage investment in clean energy for storage of agricultural commodities and value addition

Grant Amount

50% grant up to a maximum of Rs 400,000

Eligibility Criteria

• Holders of a valid Small Farmers Welfare Fund Card
• Operating in the agro-industrial sector for at least one year
• Involved in horticultural crop production over a minimum extent of one hectare/500m2 for hydroponics/sheltered farming 1000m2
• Holder of title deed or registered lease agreement for a minimum of 3 years post-application
• Holder of the relevant permits/licences, where applicable
• Provide design of the Solar Powered Cold Room
• Have proof of funding for the remaining amount
• For Cooperative/Companies- Turnover should not exceed Rs 10M
