objectives:<br \/>To demonstrate various organic farming practices<br \/><\/span><\/li><li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">To be use as a practical training space for participants of the Farmers Training Centre<\/span><\/li><li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">To serve as a model for farmers transitioning to organic agriculture<\/span><\/li><\/ul><p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The model includes:<\/span><\/p><ul><li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">recycling of waste through traditional aerobic composting and vermicomposting<\/span><\/li><li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">a nursery for seedlings production<\/span><\/li><li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">different production systems showcasing mixed cropping, companion planting, mulching, banana circles and service plants<\/span><\/li><li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">a rainwater harvesting system for water management<\/span><\/li><\/ul><p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The Jardin Bio was inaugurated by the CEO of FAREI Dr. M.
