To perform procurement, storekeeping and stock control duties in accordance with procurement and supply regulations and procedures in force and the Public Procurement Act 2006.<br \/>2. To organise and manage procurement and supply activities.<br \/>3. To assist the Stores Superintendent in any assignment related to procurement, supply and warehouse operations.<br \/>4. To provide support to project teams on procurement issues.<br \/>5. To keep proper records of all receipts, issues of stores and stationeries and of transactions.<br \/>6. To prepare evaluation reports and compile data contained in quotations<br \/>7. To verify that physical quantities tally with quantities in stores ledger.<br \/>8. To manage filing of administrative and technical documents and update registers\/ledgers regularly.<br \/>9. To conduct market survey<br \/>10. To coordinate with supplier for on-time delivery and follow-up on purchases.<br \/>11. To use ICT in the performance of his duties.<br \/>12. To perform such other duties directly related to the main duties listed above or related to the delivery of the output and results expected from Procurement Officer in the roles ascribed to him.<\/p><p><strong>V MODE OF APPLICATION<\/strong> <br \/>Qualified candidates are kindly requested to call during working hours at the Food and Agricultural Research and Extension Institute, Head Office, Reduit to collect the application form or to download the application form from the website of FAREI (farei.mu). <\/p><p><strong>Instructions to candidates :<\/strong><br \/>1. Only application made on the prescribed form will be accepted.<br \/>2. Incomplete, inadequate or inaccurate filling of the form will lead to disqualification and elimination of the candidate.<br \/>3. Applicant should possess all certificates\/qualifications at time of application.<br \/>4. Copy of certificates and Identity Card <strong>must be attached<\/strong> to the application form.<br \/>5. Documentary evidence will have to be submitted for experience claimed.<br \/>6. The onus for the submission of equivalence of qualification (if applicable) from the relevant authorities (Tertiary Education Commission or Mauritius Qualifications Authority) rests on the candidates. Applications will not be considered failing the non-submission of Equivalence Certificate, as appropriate, by the closing date.<br \/>7.
